MARKET MANAGER
Job Description
  • Develop and share market knowledge for one of the specific markets AL serves.
  • Identify appropriate market segments to be targeted.
  • Define strategy, value propositions and create offers for each segment.
  • Contribute to business development, through marketing initiatives, goals setting and monitoring of performance in a specific market.
Responsibility
  • Take responsibility for market intelligence and positioning.
  • Conduct marketing intelligence activities within a specific market, using insight to develop AL market positioning
  • Collect and provide information on key industries’ development trends.
  • Size importance of industrial segments for AL and suggest business development priorities
  • Design & implement market strategy and industry specific offers
  • Provide a contractual framework with appropriate terms and conditions, including price variation mechanisms
  • Make sure that value propositions, offers and contracts are well understood and effectively used by the Sales Force
  • Contribute to sales development & profitability goals achievement.
  • Review market segments profitability on a regular basis

PRODUCT MANAGER - BULK & ON-SITE
Job Description
  • Develop and share bulk market knowledge, at country level (supply & demand per region).
  • Assess competitiveness of AL Bulk solutions versus that of competitors’ solution.
  • Assist the bulk supply chain team to ensure a continuity of supply to customers and compliance of bulk operations and products with regulatory/contractual specifications and IMS requirements.
  • Enhance overall profitability of Bulk in the country, through optimization initiatives implemented in coordination with the bulk supply chain team.
Responsibility
  • Develop & maintain a strong understanding of the bulk market.
  • Conduct regular market analysis to keep up with bulk consuming industries news, includes trends in main basins & new basins projects.
  • Design & implement a standard bulk offer & pricing policy
  • Elaborate a standard bulk offer including service level options and associated pricing policy.
  • Provide a contractual framework with appropriate terms and conditions for bulk business, including price variation mechanisms and flexibility. Ensure compliance with regulatory/contractual specifications & IMS.
  • Contribute to bulk sourcing optimization & investment projects.
  • Assist the Supply Chain team in the management of Bulk supply disruptions, force majeure events and urgent supply issue.
  • Enhance awareness of bulk products profitability lever within bulk scheduling and sales teams, while making no compromise on safety.
  • Perform regular audits of Bulk contracts and invoices to check compliance with frame agreement.
  • Analytical skills - ability to make sense of market data
  • Motivation and ability for data crunching
  • Ability to build fruitful relationships with colleagues from various departments.
  • Respect for others’ constraints and willingness to get to the bottom of operational, technical or commercial issues to co-create cost effective solutions to bulk related issues.

  • Prospect businesses within sales territory to detect & qualify new opportunities.
  • Manage pipeline of opportunities to maximize sales outcomes
  • Sign contracts with new customers according to sales development objectives.

  • Grow sales and profitability, mainly through existing customers
  • Develop intimate knowledge of customer, to identify opportunities for business expansion.
  • Manage contracts and customer satisfaction, to optimize revenue and reduce threats.
Responsibility
  • Develop a trusted relationship with existing customers & monitor their satisfaction
  • Have a broad understanding of customers’ processes. Know how AL solutions fit in these processes.
  • Contribute to AL market intelligence thanks to high quality interaction with customers
  • Capture and share knowledge about economical, regulatory matters, and industrial development plans in the sales territory.
  • Analyze customers portfolio & manage contracts to generate growth and profitability.
  • Identify customer’s new business challenges, that AL may resolve thus creating additional value for both parties
